CNSD awarded purchase agreements valued up to $4M
CATOOSA, Okla. – Cherokee Nation Security & Defense has been awarded a five-year blanket purchase agreement to provide installation of closed-circuit television security and fiber optic cable at Fort Sill in Lawton, Okla.
The award, valued up to $4M, can include various jobs throughout the length of the plan.
Last year, CNSD installed audio/video and teleconferencing equipment in two rooms at the post. Getting the contract for CCTV and fiber optic cabling is direct reflection that the work done last year was a success.
“We’re very happy to re-join our friends and clients at Fort Sill and keep up the good work in our own state,” said Russell Claybrook, CEO of CNSD. “Our mission is to assist in protecting and supporting our warfighters and this is a great opportunity to execute that mission here in Oklahoma.”
The contract allows for two new positions to be created and CNSD is looking through applications and openly seeking Cherokee citizens to fill the positions. The new hires will not only work on the latest contract but are also available to work on any other contracts CNSD receives in the meantime.
Cherokee Nation Security & Defense provides state-of-the-art critical site infrastructure protection, security surveillance services, access control technologies and complete security integration for both government and commercial clients.
